Richard Walker's Pancake House Information

Nestled in the heart of Obu at 3 Chome-356 Hiiragiyamacho, Pizzeria Marino Obu offers a spacious, welcoming environment that makes it easy to relax and enjoy a meal at your own pace. The restaurant has evolved impressively over the years, with its food quality noticeably improving, making it a standout spot not just for pizza but for a variety of Italian-inspired dishes. Guests appreciate the buffet-style menu, which allows you to take exactly what you want without waste, giving everyone a chance to sample different flavors of pizza and pasta in generous portions. While a few staff members have been noted for their occasional brusque attitude, the majority of the team is attentive and friendly, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. The wide, open layout of the restaurant also means that even during busier times, diners can enjoy a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere compared to other locations, avoiding the typical hustle and bustle often associated with self-serve pizza buffets. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or indulging in a pizza and pasta feast, the menu caters to hearty appetites and provides a variety of choices to satisfy different tastes. The combination of consistently improving food, accommodating staff, and a spacious interior creates an environment where you can savor your meal without feeling rushed, making it a notable choice among the local dining options in Aichi. Frequent visitors often return for the comforting familiarity of the dishes while discovering new favorites each time, demonstrating that Pizzeria Marino Obu continues to evolve and maintain its appeal over the years. The atmosphere, portion options, and steadily refined menu all come together to make each visit both enjoyable and satisfying, highlighting why it remains a well-regarded spot for Italian cuisine in the area.

What People's Say About Place

Yes it is a little pricey for sure, but it is a treat. Got an order of pancakes. Nice flavor fluffy, not too fluffy, had a little bit of denseness to them. Good. Ask for extra extra butter, not a problem. Sausages were good, fantastic flavor. Not grainy or grisly at all. Service was nice. Very attentive. But I did get there at seven thirty in the morning, and there was only a couple other tables.

Wonderful Experience,I was truly impressed by this place! The staff was incredibly friendly, with the most attentive and knowledgeable servers. Jesus, my server, was exceptionally polite and helpful, making sure every detail was perfect. The coffee was excellent, rich and flavorful. The apple sauce was amazing, a perfect balance of sweetness. The German pancake was, as always, fantastic! The crepe was decent, though the spinach had a slightly off taste, but overall, still enjoyable. This place is a gem for breakfast lovers, and I will definitely be back!

Walker Brothers Pancake House in Crystal Lake is hands down one of the best breakfast spots around! The pancakes are perfectly fluffy, flavorful, and generously portioned, and everything on the menu is consistently delicious. The service is fast, friendly, and attentive, even during busy mornings. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great place for families or a relaxed weekend breakfast. You can really tell they care about quality and customer experience. Always worth the wait and a must-visit if you’re in the area!

Rich food and service I visited there first time but had good experience. Coffee was perfect according to my taste I ordered California wrap and fresh kaiser roll . French fries that came with California wrap were too good. Even Hash Browns were so crispy and tasty. Food was well cooked. Everything was fresh and yummy. Restaurant was well decorated as Christmas look. Sevice was good. No wait for seating . Quality and quantity was worth its price. Highly recommended and visit it again with family and friends.

Highly recommend the western crepe. It has scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, green pepper, ham. Served with potato pancakes (not my fave but maybe they can substitute something else). Waiter was great! I had this dish when it was on special, it's not listed on the menu but he said they could make it for me. We also had the strawberry crepes, served with a citrus orange sauce. Everything is a little pricey but worth it. Tend to come here on special occasions. Wish this location participated in coupons like local flavor. The Schaumburg location is the only other closest one that participates.

Our family favorite place to go. Went in there for brunch. Staff is very friendly. Always welcoming. This time i tried Spinach Crepe- my first time. It was yummy. I love spicy food, But they sprinkled paprika for me on top. It is served with potato pancakes. Which was a win too. At Friday noon it was not crowded and no wait. Ambiance - good, spacious booths. Very clean. Not very loud.

Great place to have breakfast. The chilaquiles were very good. Waffle came with fresh strawberries and the egg white scrambled we had was very good aswell. Will be coming back. Our server was also very good.

A very cute American breakfast place. The decor was festive and inviting. The food was very tasty and as a vegan, was happily surprised that they have vegan eggs and I was able to "veganaize" most dishes. The only complaint, they seemed short staffed but the waiter/host really picked up the pace.
